Sažetak
During the last few years multimedia and multipoint communications have made very big progress, specially in video compression techniques. Picture content and the methods of coding determine bit rate variation on the coder output and picture quality. In digital image and video compression system, picture quality is very important issue. The best method for picture quality evaluation is subjective assessment which is geared directly toward properties of the human visual system. This paper present subjective testing method for measuring the picture impairments which are consequences of picture content and bit rate variation.
