Sažetak
In this paper, the main determinations, principles, measures and goals of European port policy are identified, as well as pre-conditions for mutual harmonization. Within this concept, the current trasnport and port policy of Croatia are carefully analysed. Vital determinations of port policy are set and solutions for necessary compatibility with European port policy suggested.
