Sažetak
Volcanic rocks have a high content of various elements. Investigations, Snoek, H. (1985), showed that finely ground volcanic rocks have a good effect on the cation/anion content in plant absorption as well as on growth restraints. Two localities in Croatia have sediment deposits of volcanic tuff with a high zeolite content (clinoptilolite and analcine). Mineralogical, physical and chemical investigations of these minerals revealed their very useful properties for fertilizing trials. Effect of Agrarvital-SPS with the prevailing content of these zeolites upon the fertilizational and neutralizational value of liming (acid soil) was estimated.
