Sažetak
The analysis of medium access protocols for several bus structured LANs, as well as the comparison of their behavior wrt to their ability for real time operation are presented in this paper. Token passing and CSMA based protocols are investigated for medium access time wrt different parameters. In order to accomplish the analysis an appropriate simulator was built. Beased on results obtained from the simulation, a statistical analysis was made.
