Sažetak
The complex topic of the development of energy sources in the contemporary world economy encompasess numerous energetic, economic and environmental, as well as political, social, technological and organisational implications. Analysis of the biomass energy sources, production of biogas, economic and ecological justification , demand an integrated approach that takes into account multidisciplinary character of the topic. The authors propose a technical-technological process of biomass conversion into thermal energy directly by burning and indirectly by the thermal process into mechanical energy and electricity. Cost effectiveness was checked by comparison with an alternative model of fossil energy sources utilisation. Cost-benefit analysis confirmed the economic and ecological justification of the proposed programme.
