Sažetak
Corridor Vc, as an important road, railway, river and air traffic route, will provide conditions for more intensive economic development of the regions in its catchment area. The traffic infrastructure will be at the disposal of entrepreneurs from County of Vukovar-Sirmium as well. Using Corridor Vc will certainly improve their operating conditions, but this will also bring more domestic and foreign competition. In order to survive and prosper in such an environment, entrepreneurs from this region will have to increase their efficiency and effectiveness. For this, they need to be acquainted with different aspects of Corridor Vc usage, and to adapt their business operations accordingly. With this aim, we conducted an opinion poll on a sample from County of Vukovar-Sirmium regarding the expected influence of the traffic Corridor Vc on the business of companies where the respondents are employed, as well as on the region's economy as a whole. In addition to economic issues, the questionnaire included different questions of social character. The key role in the analysis of the data obtained in the survey was played by the statistical method. In this study, it covered the calculation of descriptive statistics, factor analysis, analysis of variance and discriminant analysis.
