Sažetak
Contemporary society is confronted by several phenomena which exert a continuous influence on its transformation: globalisation, information revolution, terrorism etc. There i no doubt that terrorism represents a key threat to the world today. Terrorist engage in violence as their main line of action. This paper focuses on an analysis of phenomena which point to the transformation of terrorism and the need to redefine the existing status quo approaches: information revolution, terrorism's communicational potential, and the symbiotic relationship between the mass media and terrorism. A new form of terrorism is coming into existence which could be operatively termed mega terorrism.
