Sažetak
Up to now testing of the coupled meso/micro scale numerical models (ALADIN/WAsP method) has not yielded with reliable wind resource assessment approach in complex orography dominated by high presence of local gusty, downslope wind called Bura. Therefore, modifications are made to the method in order to improve prediction accuracy and contribute to the development of the optimal approach for calculation of the Croatian wind atlas. All modelling results are compared with measured data. Assumptions, methods and results are described in the paper.
