Sažetak
Hydrophones (Transducers for passive sonar) work strictly as receivers. They are located in a very quiet environment of deep sea. Each hydrophone has its own noise that adds to the ambient sea noise making so the total noise in the receiving sonar signal. The hydrophone noise is statistically independent of the ambient sea noise. The mathematical model of the average sample hydrophone noise spectrum level is derived.
