Sažetak
The problem of credit deprivation and the entire financial service to financially and socially most threatened groups and individuals is evident for some time now, and numerous countries are dealing with it. They try to eliminate or restrict this phenomenon in different ways, for example by adopting different grants and subsidies, promoting and supporting development of special mutal non profit socially oriented financial institutions, and more frequently, with different laws, what is of special importance. Unfortunately, a large part of existing measures applied in developed countries, designed to suppress this phenomenon still did not give expected results. Thus, they have to be reassessed and improved. This paper points to the problem of "financial exclusion", basic causes of its emergence and its importance in the world, as well as methods of dealing with it in the most developed countries
