Sažetak
Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) improve traffic operations and transportation logistic using advanced information, communication and control technologies. Information infrastructure for ITS must support information access services, real-time control, decision making, active monitoring, wireless communications, etc. In the paper, intelligent agents and its usefulness in the domain of ITS services, are considered. According to generalized models of transport and traffic systems, basic classifications of transport intelligence with five distinct fields is denoted.
