Sažetak
The area of media studies is, in a broad sense, oriented towards the analysis of three different, but interconnected streams: the analysis of media institutions (or production), the analysis of texts (or media content) and the analysis of the audiences. A specific emphasize in my research is placed on the area of audience analysis and their reception of 'cult TV' texts. Media texts have an important role in the creation of meaning in specific interpretative communities such as fan communities, which carries a specific, affective relation to 'cult' texts. I am exploring the meaning of these relations in everyday media usage.
