Sažetak
In order for better understanding of optical dot gain origin we introduce new stastistical model of light scattering in paper, started with more realistic description of paper as a scattering medium. In our description, absorption and scattering coefficients of all paper constituents, as they appears in real case, were taken in key function as they contribute in real paper. Due to the fact that the paper is complex medium, for its more realistic depiction it is necessary to take in account other parameters which was done by means of assymmetry parameters for every paper component. Depicted phenomena was observed and calculated in transmission and reflection. Agreement of statistical light scattering model in complex substrate with Kubelka-Munk method description of the same phenomena and experimental data demonstrate that new method successfully describes regarded phenomena. Optical measurements were performed by means of Personal IAS equipment.
