Sažetak
This paper outlines the research of the impact of puncturing support during blasting activities in tunnels. The puncturing support, whose main purpose is to bypass unexcavated section in poorer ground categories that is to prevent the material fall from the tunnel calotte after the completion of excavation, has additional functions aimed at decreasing negative impacts caused by blasting. By drilling and placement of puncturing support the rock will get perforated and thus by means of the shielded zone the rock mass will get separated from the excavation area which will prevent excessive loosening of the rock mass and diminish the expansion of seismic effects.
