Sažetak
The paper analyses the process of EU integration and transition to market economy, showing that these two processes represent the key determinants of future development in Croatia. It leads to the conclusion that successful transition is in the same time the precondition of integration into the EU and that the goals the country has to achieve in both processes are mutually complementary and interdependent. The paper focuses some particular trade issues with the EU and tries to give an answer what are the reasons of stagnation of Croatian trade flows into the EU.
