Sažetak
Methods and algorithms for closed-loop hybrid step motor control have been discussed. The analytical expression for the average torque of a two-phase hybrid step motor with bipolar supply and current controller has been developed. Approximate and exact expressions for the optimal control angle of a two-phase hybrid step motor with bipolar supply and current controller have been derived. The results of torque characteristics computation demonstrated that the proposed optimal control algorithm provided maximum average torque values of a hybrid step motor at all angular speed levels. The results obtained by computer simulation of the start-up of a two-phase hybrid step motor with current controller indicated that the proposed optimal control algorithm provided the highest acceleration and angular speed values of a hybrid step motor.
