Sažetak
The concept of integration i.e. development of a unique European air traffic control system under the authority of EUROCONTROL is the only option of competing with the planned growth of air traffic. The integration of the numerous ATC systems into a unique operational unit has stipulated by the technical aspect of the co-ordinated development and application of communication, navigation and radar equipment. The required application of automatic systems and sophisticated technology, e.g. "Mode S"-radar and global navigation satellite system, for some countries in transition presents an aggravating factor of equality in integration.
