Sažetak
The ecological valorization of the offset product originates from the evaluation of its life spam, which is based on the consumption of raw materials, pollution of air, water and soil, by the production of graphic materials, by the process of graphic reproduction itself and the influence of the used product on the environment. In the complex tangle of influences the ecologically unfavourable aspect of the conventional offset inks is recognizable. The investigation results of fiber characteristics obtained by recycling the prints made with offset ink of greater suitableness ; obtained by using the raw materials from the renewable source in relation to the conventional offset ink have been presented. The printing substrates of different composition have been used for printing: coated and uncoated papers. The method of alkaline chemical deinking flotation has been used for recycling. The investigation results of the relevant spectrophotometric values such as ISO brightness, chromatic values a* and b* and the reflection curves for the sheets made from fibers from different phases of the alkaline chemical deinking flotation are discussed.
