Sažetak
The presence of germination inhibitors in the seed coat of one or three year-old parsley seed obtained from three cultivars (Bardoviški, Berlinski poludugi, Non plus ultra) was investigated. Germination percentage and viability were observed for unwashed seed or seed washed for 30 minutes with distilled water. Seed washing did not affect germination percentage or viability. The differences in seed germination percentage among the cultivars were significant and related to the seed age with a higher percentage found in one year old compared to three year old seed.
