Sažetak
Three seedlings ages (10, 20 and 30 days) and two cultivars (Acceste and Vegetable Marrow) were compared in field trials. The seedlings were produced in the multi-cell trays in a non-heated greenhouse. The vegetative growth parameters were determined at 10, 20 and 30 days after transplanting (DAT), while the parameters of generative development were observed twice a week. Vegetative growth was not affected by cultivar or cultivar × seedling age interactions. The vegetative growth of summer squash was not affected by seedling age at 10 DAT, but leaf area and plant fresh and dry weight were higher in 10-day old seedlings at 20 and 30 DAT.
