Sažetak
The dynamic model of a feedwater pump system in a steam power plant together with its control system are presented. The model is composed of pumps, motor drives, pipelines and a flow and pressure control system. The pumps were modeled on the basis of their Q-H curves while ignoring phenomena within the pump, whereas the pipelines, high-pressure feedwater heaters and the boiler with its control circuits were represented by elements with hydraulic resistance. The changing conditions in the boiler are manifested as disturbance functions in the feedwater flow control circuit. The simulation results obtained may be considered an acceptable basis for further research into energy optimal control algorithms for pumping systems.
