Sažetak
DARIAH is a project to support the digitisation of data. We will provide the research infrastructure for digital research and preservation and thus, bring information users, information managers and information providers within countries and across Europe together. The digital research infrastructure will integrate grid middleware with user facing tools to support e-research and e-learning activities. Therefore DARIAH will make an important input towards e-humanities. The grand vision for DARIAH is to facilitate long-term access to, and use of all European Arts and Humanities and cultural heritage information for the purposes of research. The research will help to increase knowledge and understanding of our heritage, histories, languages and cultures.
