Sažetak
The effect of newly syntehized derivative of 11-hydroxy-7-imino-7H-7a, 12-diazabenzo/alfa/ anthracen-6-one, on growth and aflatoxin B1 and G1 accumulation by toxigenic mold Aspergillus parasiticus NRRL 2999 was studied in YES medium to determine the possible use of this compound as a mean of controlling aflatoxin accumulation. Experiments were carried out in a stationary culture at temperatuire of 28oC during 21 days. Mycelial dry weight were determined gravimetrically, and concentrations of AFB1 and AFG1 were measured by HPLC method using HP instrument with fluorescent detector. Concentratiopns of investigated compound of 0.05 mmol/L and 0.1 mmol/L, respectively stimulated mold growth and AFB1 accumulation, but concentrations higher than 0.2 mmol/L produced an inhibitory effect. In the presence of 0.3 mmol/L of investigated coumarine, mold growth was decreased by 55 % and toxin concentration by 85 % completely.
