Sažetak
The article deals with the issue of introducing EFL writing skills into the first grade of primary school in Croatia. A research on a sample of the Croatian first-graders has shown that introducing writing skill in EFL at an early school age has no negative influence on the development of writing skills in Croatian as the mother tongue. The research also indicates some advantages in pedagogical implications of the stated approach.
