Sažetak
This article is focused on the student's position in the educational process in higher education institutions, in the scope of the Bologna process. Placing the student in the centre of the educational process is one of the basic characteristics of the higher education reform. The results of the research conducted among the elementary teacher training students and pre-school teacher training students at the University of Pula and University of Rijeka (Croatia) show a satisfactory, but not an optimal situation in reorganisation of educational system and strengthening the role of student in the educational process.
