Sažetak
Communicating integration impacts in Croatia and Ireland brings together a selection of papers prepared within the Phare 2005 project “ EU IMPACT - Academic network for communicating integration impacts in Croatia” . The book is result of a joint work by the Institute for International Relations (IMO) from Zagreb and the Institute for International and European Affairs (IIEA) from Dublin. It collects the reflections of the authors on key areas that were discussed at a number of academic debates in Croatia during 2007. The book seeks to give an answer about the expected impacts of EU membership in the important fields of education, environment protection, food safety and consumer protection. Its aim is to raise awareness of the impacts, challenges and opportunities of EU membership for Croatia, based on the successful Irish experience within the academic community and the best practice of communicating Europe to citizens.
