Sažetak
The Vučedol Culture is rare among prehistoric cultural phenomena in that it has a relatively precise place of origin — at the border of eastern Slavonia and Srijem, somewhere in the triangle Vukovar-Vinkovci-Ilok. Today we can reliably attest that the culture’ s eponymous settlement, Vučedol, is the site with its oldest known ceramic material. Vučedol settlement was spread on the four elevated sites: Gradac, Vineyard Streim, Vineyard Karasović and the Cornfield Streim. The eponymous site of Vučedol has to date given the greatest contribution to reconstruction of the entire Vučedol Culture.
