Sažetak
The purpose of this study is to explore effect of chitosan on micellization behavior of nonionic Pluronic F127 copolymer as well as possible synergistic effect of mixed F127/chitosan systems on corneal permeability. Although a lot of work has been carried out to explore fundamental behavior of F127 copolymers, and effect of some additives (electrolytes, drugs, surfactants), little is know about F127 micellization in presence of polyelectrolyte additives. Since both, F127 and chitosan are safe penetration enhancers for transmucosal delivery of drugs, mixed F127/chitosan systems could offer promising prospects as carriers for ocular drug delivery.
