Sažetak
Komparirana je populacijska struktura između šarana iz rijeke Yangtze (Cyprinus carpio haematopterus) i iz Hrvatske (C. c. carpio) na temelju mitohondrijskog citohroma b. Populacijsko genetska razina varijacije bila je veća kod C. c. carpio. Abstract: The population structure between common carp (Cyprinus carpio haematopterus) from Yangtze River and common carp () from Croatia were compared based on mitochondrial cytochrome b gene sequences. The population genetic variation level of C. c. carpio was slightly higher than that of C. c. haematopterus, based on diversity index, such as nucleotide diversity, transition: transversion rate, and the haplotype diversity. The possible mechanism led to this differentiantion was proposed.
