Sažetak
The Old Church Slavonic Academy was founded in Krk in 1902. It was incorporated into the croatian Theological Academy in Zagreb as its Old Church Slavonic department in 1928. It was only in 1948 that Msgr. Svetozar Ritig succeeded to revive the Old Church Slavonic Academy in Zagreb. The Academy was then renamed into Institute. The task of the Old Church Slavonic Institute is to do research of Old Church Slavonic as well as the Croatian Church Slavonic language and literature and to collect and publish the sources. Thus far many different aspects of the task have been fulfilled. A grammar of Croatian Church Slavonic is being prepared and the first seven fascicles of Dictionary of Croatian Church Slavonic have been published. A bibliography of Biblical readings from Croatian Glagolitic liturgical books is being prepared. Biblical textes, apocrypha, hagiographies, miracles of Our Lady, visions, legal documents and other works are studies and published. A Chrestomathy of Croatian medieval literature was edited, based mainly on Glagolitic texts. Old Church Slavonic Institute has two publications. Slovo is published annually (46 issues so far) and series Radovi Staroslavenskog instituta is published periodically (9 books so far).
