Sažetak
The investigation involved three groups of weaned piglets (N=60), crossbreed (LWxSL)x Pietrein, the same sex proportions, aged 28 to 70 days. All groups were fed on fodder mixture for weaned piglets containing 22% crude protein and 13.84 MJ ME/kg until 21th day after weaning. In the second phase of investigation piglets were fed on fodder mixture for growing pigs with 19% crude protein and 13.74 MJ ME/kg. The first experimental group (E1) was added biomechanically activated zeolite clinoptilolite (TMAZ-tribomechanical mineral activation process of disintegration of crude particles characterized by high speeds and particle collisions in short periods) in concentration 0.2%, the second eperimental group (E2) in concentration 0.5%. Body weight was controled on the weaning day (BW-0), the 5th, 21st and 42nd day after weaning (BW-1, BW- 2, BW-3). Blood samples were taken from the animals on the 21st day after weaning in order to determine biochemical indicators. Tribomechanically activated zeolite clinoptilolite strongly stimulate growth of weaned piglets, more with the addittion of 0.5% than 0.2%. Addition of clinoptilolite affected biochemical parameters in piglets, probably because of stimulation immune and neuroendocrine response during fight-or-flight response on TMAZ in gastrointestinal system. No detrimental effect was determined.
