Sažetak
Conventional contact stress analysis is done analitically or by using computer programs written for specific problems. Modern analysis of such mechanical systems are mainly done numerically using commercial software packages such as MSC.Nastran/Patran, MSC.Marc, Ansys, I-DEAS and others. Whether the analysis is linear or nonlinear, static or dynamic etc., the accuracy of obtained results, analysis time and needed hardware resources mainly depends on the chosen finite element model and specifically used mash density. In order to achieve the optimal analysis results, for both normal and shear stresses the mesh density must by carefully chosen.
