Sažetak
In the paper a potential of personal computer as a teaching tool outside the area of informatics education is discussed, focusing on the secondary school basic electricity teaching. A great deal of problems, encountered in teaching the Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering at the first two years of Croatian secondary technical schools, could be addressed to the inability of pupils to understand formal, mathematical descriptions of important electricity concepts. To overcome this, teachers need a lot of blackboard work for qualitative description of relations between electric quantities. The educational software is described which enables the use of personal computer for animation and graphical presentation of relations between electric quantities, leaving the teacher more time to concentrate on important topics, ant to individualize teaching.
