Sažetak
The papers selected for this second special issue of the Journal were originally presented at the ninth International Design Conference – Design 2006, held in Cavtat, Croatia, 15th – 18th May 2006 and published in the conference proceedings. From more than 200 papers presented at the conference, under the motto » The excellence in design« the panel of conference chairs recommended about thirty papers for the » best paper« award, which includes publishing in the Journal Strojarstvo. The quality of the paper and the research rigour has been the primary criteria for the first selection
