Sažetak
The effect of farmyard manure (FYM) application (30 or 50 t ha-1) in spring or autumn, each year or every 3rd year) in comparison with two mineral fertilizations (MF) on productivity and botanical composition of semi natural grassland was investigated. Dry matter (DM) yield was significantly increased with MF (8.15 t ha-1) compared to FYM application (6.88 t ha-1). The application of FYM in the rate of 50 t ha-1 significantly increased DM yield (7.19 t ha-1) compared to 30 t ha-1 FYM (6.57 t ha-1). Annual application of FYM significantly increased DM yield (7.55 t ha-1) in comparison with the FYM application every 3rd year (6.96 t ha-1). MF increased the proportion of grasses (78.57 %), decreased the proportion of legumes (1.16 %) in comparison with FYM fertilization (69.52 % and 8.3 % respectively). Timing (spring vs. autumn) and periodicity of FYM application, nor its rate, did not significantly effect the grassland botanical composition.
