Sažetak
The work examines liberal reforms enacted in the Croatian Diet during the period of rule of the ban Ivan Mažuranić. The basic interests of the research is modernisation of the Croatian legal system and transfer of (the Austrian) laws. The article shows that the transfer of the Austrian models in the Croatian legal system was based on reduction of grants of the rights of individuals and extension of jurisdiction of state authorities.
