Sažetak
The thesis emphasises the importance of using authentic literary texts in teaching English to young learners, as well as the possibilities of using Internet resources for educational purposes. A brief overview of the types of accessible Internet resources related to children's literature is given. Two projects for the English classes are designed. One of them represents a cross-curricular appproach to a poem by Edward Lear. The other one explores activities on the World Wide Web based on R. Dahl's "Matilda" to show how the Internet can be used creatively to motivate students to read novels coming from the English-speaking context.
