Sažetak
Examples of intertextuality in some of Anthony Browne's picture books have been identified and analysed, as well as their effect upon Browne's target readership. Special attention is given to his illustrations, known for their many allusions to other visual arts and literary discourse, to popular culture, as well as for the recurring elements.
