Sažetak
The article deals with judicial and administrative practice related to the problems of the commual joint-family in Croatia-Slavonia in the second half of the 19th century. The development of legislature and the respective practice is interpreted in the context of the conflict between the institute of private ownership and collective ownership as well as in the context of the transfer of laws and its clash with local traditions.
