Sažetak
Small and large enterprises differ in many details, which have been discussed in many papers. There have been especially large segments of research directe toward the establishing specific differences, which have been used to identify the adventages an dthe disadventages of the small enterprises toward the large ones, and vice versa. The paper shows the results of the research regarding the differences between the small and the large enterprises in the area of technology, i.e. taking into account the important characteristics of the technology used (sort of technology, level in wich technoogy can be judged as obsolete, share of machine work in production process, level in wich technology can be judged as universal, ability of enterprise to adapt its production capacities.
