Sažetak
This paper presents a comprehensive study on modern sheet metal drawer forming in computer environment. SolidWorks software was used in modeling approach for creation of different parts using advanced sheet metal functions with optimal number of steps and usage of experimentally obtained corrective tables. FEM method, using Abaqus software in order to evaluate forming processes regarding strain energy. At production of different shapes of products the numerical simulation can be used to assess the dependency of strain energy on the variation of product shape. By means of this approach the energy consumption in forming process can be made at the start stage of design, before tools and process parameters are set. A number of forming technologies was investigated in order to obtain most appropriate production-forming process. ToPs software is used for creating of NC programs for machines in order to produce sheet metal drawer. In this research the friction coefficient values and their influence on material surface has been determined experimentally by means of tribometer Tritop. The experimental determining of the material flow curve (covered by a power relationship of the Hollomon-Ludwik's law) has been performed by means of tensile testing machine Amsler equipped with: optical measuring system (3 CCD cameras), measuring converter and data processing system supported with LabView software. As material for complex drawer forming the steel DC 01 (Standard: EN 10130, i.e. DIN 1623 T1 -Cold-Rolled Steel Sheet and Strip for Cold Forming) was used.
