Sažetak
The purpose of this paper was to analyze cost-effectiveness of preliminary operations due to start of production on Vuckovec, Vukanovec and Zebanec natural gas exploration fields in the Medjimurje County. Bringing to production of the mentioned fields and the transport of natural gas after the construction of planned pipeline from the feeding station Medjimurje to the CGS Molve has been named Project Medjimurje. Exploratory activities on these locations have started in the middle of passed century, and reserves of hydrocarbons on fields Vuckovec and Vukanovec were confirmed in 2001. Production of gas have been planned from five wells Vuc - 1, Vuc - 3, Vuc - 5, Vuk – 1 and Zeb – 2. Transport of natural gas to the CGS Molve as part of Project Medjimurje is planned by 70 kilometers long pipeline. The Project has been analyzed based on the assumption that investments will be financed from internal sources of INA Naftaplin, while the start of production is foreseen to be in 2008. The purpose of economical analysis was to present the financial justification of The Project, whereat obtained data indicate that it will be financially positive in the range eight years from the start of production, while the payback period of the investment was estimated in four years.
