Sažetak
The archaeological site AN 38 Bregovi is positioned on the route of the Beli Manastir – Osijek – Svilaj motorway, Đakovo – Sredanci section. It is east of the village of Stružani in the direction of the village of Zoljani. Rescue archaeological excavations were carried out on an area of 18, 000 square metres. It is located on a section of a ridge, of slightly raised ground, running east to west. The prehistoric features consist of waste pits, postpits and dugout structures. According to the finds, most of it can be dated to the Late Iron Age. The medieval pits are found only on the highest part of the ridge, in the SE part. These are waste pits and postpits, clearly the parts of some above-ground structures. According to the finds, they can be preliminarily dated to the late Middle Ages, but some of the shapes tend to suggest an early dating.
