Sažetak
A C^1 rectangular finite element in the seventh degree polynomial basis is described and compared with standard finite element in the thin orthotropic plate bending analysis. The presented numerical examples show the accuracy of solutions in the thin orthotropic plate bending analysis is improved with this full heptic rectangular finite element.
