Sažetak
In the present study amplification, restriction and comparation of mt DNA fragments of species belonging to genus Hypericum have been performed for the first time. Two regions of mt DNK was compared(mt nad1bic and mtnad4) among ten species of the genus Hypericum: Hypericum japonicum Thumb.ex Murray, Hypericum foliosum Aiton, Hypericum buoleroides Griseb, Hypericum attenuatum Choisy, Hypericum perforatum L., Hypericum maculatum Crantz, Hypericum kamtshaticum Ledeb, Hypericum tetrapterum Fries i Hypericum olympicum L. These species belongs to six different sections according to intrageneric classification of Hypericum. Restriction profiles of fragment nad4 are identical in all samples, while restriction profiles of region nad1bic are different in Hypericum foliosum, Hypericum ascyron, Hypericum japonicum . This result indicates usefulness of this mitohondrial genome region for phylogenetic analysis in genus Hypericum.
