Sažetak
The paper present the study of restoration and reassignment of the very old, originally built wood construction in Croatia. Since the structure and building plans are lost, the object is digitaly measured and new plans are made. The object was used as grain storehouse from 1765 when it was built and now in consultation with conservators, the aim was to make new purpose to this building. Because it is highly valued cultural property and law protected, its exterior and interior can not suffer any dramatic changes in order to preserve its basic characteristics. So the idea is to reassigne it in library, because its first purpose was to carry lots of load on the ground, first and second floor. The main question is in what condition the structure is?. Does it still hasbearing capacity and satisfactory mechanical characteristics and which intervention techniques are required for sanations and putting the object in new life purpose .
