Sažetak
Interior reconstruction of old buildings, from the beginning of the last century and even before, representing historical and cultural heritage, usually includes floor surface renovation because of its inappropriate condition. In this case it is required, not only to intervene on final surface layer, but on the basis layers as well. The first part of this paper will provide overview of building methods of floor constructions in mentioned buildings. The second part will provide effective method for their renovation with special attention to those with timber beams. The analysis will take into the consideration some of the most common and some of new acoustical isolation materials, as well as performance time, cost and quality aspects.
