Sažetak
The warehouse efficiency affects the overall level of quality of the logistic supply chain. The business organization of the warehouses has to satisfy various customers’ requirements, and at present business conditions they have to be an active participant in the organization and creation of the logistic supply chains and models of distribution and supply of commercial (catering) and industrial facilities. The paper analyzes especially the processes and organization of the picking systems at the warehouses, and their impact on individual segments of the warehouse operation.
