Sažetak
Velebit Mountain is the only Biosphere Reserve in the Republic of Croatia. It has been established to conserve the uniquely rich biodiversity of the karst ecosystems. For purpose of monitoring changes in a number of characteristics of these ecosystems, permanent plots have been established, and this review describes data relevant for this work.
