Sažetak
In recent years squeeze cementing finds applications during both the drilling and the completion phases. Properly designed squeeze job causes the resulting cement filter cake to fill the cracks and openings between the formation and the casing, creating zonal isolation. Most commonly cited applications are exclusion of water, gas or oil from the producing formation, recomplation from a depleted or an unwanted interval to a new interval, repair of a faulty primary cement job and repair of casing failure. This thesis also presents advantages that execution of remedial operations can provide, by proper slurry design as well as used techniques, depending on type of the problem and conditions expected for individual well. Wrong use of given tehnology can cause major formation damage, and because of that this thesis also trys to explain the importance in placement technique selection, combining both laboratory studies and field practices.
